Administrative Medical Assisting (Front Office) Training Program (210 Hours)
Be prepared to apply your skills to the front office of any medical setting! Through Allied's medical assisting programs, you'll learn the proper techniques for answering telephones, scheduling appointments and surgeries, managing and maintaining patient charts, and creating correspondence. You'll also be prepared to perform office accounting, customer service and coding tasks, as well as employ electronic health records. An entire section is devoted to insurance claim forms, including how to determine insurance coverage, professional fees, billing, and the collections process. Lastly, you'll also be exposed to governmental policies that include OSHA, HIPAA, DEA and CLIA regulations.
